Meet Dr Tripti Gupta

A smiling woman with long dark hair wearing a white blazer and dark top, posed against a plain light background.

An NHS GP who believes women in midlife deserve more time, better answers, and care built entirely around them .

Why I founded Primewellbeing

Throughout her work in general practice, Dr Gupta saw the same thing again and again: women arriving with real, life-affecting symptoms — exhaustion that sleep didn't fix, weight that wouldn't shift, low mood, brain fog, broken sleep — and leaving without answers, often told it was "just their age."

She knew these women deserved more: more time, a proper explanation of what was happening in their bodies, and care shaped around them as individuals rather than squeezed into a standard appointment. And the more she read and learned about menopause, the more she recognised the same changes in the women in her own life — and how often they were going unspoken and unheard.

Primewellbeing is her answer to that. What began as health coaching has grown into a full doctor-led clinic, where women's hormonal, metabolic and midlife health is taken seriously, investigated properly, and cared for with both clinical rigour and genuine attention.

The more I read about menopause, the more I noticed the changes in the women in my life. I wanted to create the kind of care I’d want for them — unhurried, honest and genuinely personal
— Dr Tripti Gupta

How I work

Dr Gupta's approach rests on a simple belief: that good care begins with listening. Every woman's story, body and goals are different, so care should be too.

Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, she looks at the whole picture — hormones, metabolism, sleep, stress, nutrition and long-term health — because these things are connected. Her recommendations are grounded in evidence, explained clearly, and made with you, not handed down. And because Primewellbeing is doctor-led, where treatment is clinically appropriate she can prescribe and manage it directly, then review it over time as your needs change.

It's care that's rigorous and personal in equal measure — the kind that's increasingly hard to find, and exactly what midlife health deserves.

Qualifications and training

With nearly twenty years in the NHS — having begun her GP training in 2007 in the East of England Deanery — Dr Gupta brings together general practice, lifestyle medicine and dedicated menopause training, with a particular interest in women's health and lifestyle medicine:

  • NHS GP (MRCGP 2013) — a fully qualified general practitioner working across the NHS and private care.

  • Lifestyle Medicine accredited (BSLM) — accredited by the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine in the evidence-based use of nutrition, movement, sleep and stress to support long-term health.

  • FSRH Special Skills Module in Menopause Care — dedicated, assessed training in menopause care from the Faculty of Sexual & Reproductive Healthcare.

  • Qualified health coach — trained in supporting sustainable, realistic change, not short-term fixes.

  • Founder, Primewellbeing UK Ltd.
